I grew up two streets from the studio, in my grandmother’s house. When I started hosting, I wanted people to see the Alfama I know: the neighbors, the slow mornings, the clay under your nails. You’ll leave with a bowl you made yourself and, I hope, a friend in Lisbon.
I never wanted a studio for tourists. I wanted a table where people learn something slow and leave with something real.
